About Andy Reader
Andy has worked in and around Learning and Development for almost 30 years, working in many different sectors and at all levels of seniority. In that time, he has amassed considerable knowledge and experience of a broad range of development media including coaching and mentoring. This experience was put to good use during 15 years in operational management where he used and refined the many practical techniques he now teaches.
He now has his own L&D company and works with Discovery delivering a range of topics as part of the Level 3 and Level 5 Leadership and Management Apprenticeships. He holds a Masters Degree in Training and an MBA. His keen interest in mentoring includes having mentored individuals from a range of different organisations, trained both mentors and mentees, and focussed on the topic in his MBA dissertation, in which he researched the cultural requirements for successful mentoring within organisations.
